The Citi® Upromise® Credit Card helps you get to your savings goal even faster by granting you 10% at grocery stores, 2% at gas stations, and 1% everywhere else. Other special savings are from AT&T (Southwestern Bell) of up to $5/month and more than 100 national companies, 9,000 restaurants, 10,000 hotels, and 200 online retailers will give you college contributions through Upromise. Some of the popular grocery stores include Publix where you can get promotion codes for Upromise and use their key tag. A note on the Upromise program in general is that you can save 10% college savings on grocery and drugstore items including Coca-Cola®, Kleenex® Facial Tissues and many more. Your Upromise membership can yield a 2% college savings on gas at Exxon and Mobil locations. Upromise is Sallie Mae’s company to help students save for college. They are now offering two different versions of their MasterCard. The Upromise World MasterCard credit card with Gas & Grocery Rewards and the Upromise World MasterCard credit card with Dining & Grocery Rewards enable consumers to earn cash back on everyday purchases to help fund future education expenses or pay down eligible Sallie Mae student loans. EXTRA SAVINGS TIP: If you combine this savings on gas at Exxon/Mobil stations with a Chase Perfect Card then you could be making up to 7% back within the first few months. That is 2% for college and the initial 6% that the "Perfect Card" offers.
