GE Money Canada launches Readers Rewards MasterCard
TORONTO - GE Money Canada, the consumer lending unit of
General Electric Company (NYSE: GE), and Doubleday Canada Limited, a division
of Bertelsmann DirectGroup, jointly announced the launch of a new Readers
Rewards MasterCard. The card will be offered exclusively to "readers" of
Doubleday Canada's 25 book clubs, which include the Doubleday Book Club,
Book-of-the-Month Club, Mystery Guild, Science Fiction Book Club and Crafter's
Choice. Every time cardholders use the card, they earn special rewards that
can be used toward future book club purchases.

This unique credit card offers Readers Rewards MasterCard cardholders to earn three Readers Rewards points
for every dollar spent at any of Doubleday's book clubs and one point for
every dollar spent everywhere else MasterCard cards are accepted for payment. For every 1,000 points earned, cardholders will receive a $10 Readers Rewards
certificate redeemable on any future book club purchase.
The Readers Rewards MasterCard has no annual fee and cardholders get free
shipping and handling on every book club order over $39. Book club members can
