American Express Cards

There was a time when green was the color of American Express. Now, there are Gold, Platinum (below), and Blue cards. Each card offers a different APR and annual fee. There are also different rewards packages for different cards. For instance, the Hilton Honors Platinum allows people to receive discounts at Hilton hotels, and the Delta Gold gives Skymiles for every dollar spent.

The Top American Express Cards include the

#1 Starwood Rewards <--This Card is BEST for any frequent flyer program! No Annual fee the first year.

#2 CostCo TrueEarnings - Business Owner or Wholesale shopping must! No Annual fee if CostCo Member.

#3 Preferred Rewards Gold Card - Impress your date with a Gold Card.

The American Express Blue Cash is one of the safest cards on the market to use on the internet to prevent against fraud. Members pay no annual fee, they enjoy an introductory zero percent APR, and they can accumulate rewards points that can be used for a number of different things. However, what truly separates Blue Cash from other AmEx cards is that a Blue Cash carrier can actually get back up to five percent of the money he spends on the card. This is an example of how American Express can take something that has been featured in other cards (e.g. The Discover Card), add to it, and make it their own.

How Convenient Are American Express Cards?

American Express, while not accepted everywhere, often offers members far more benefits than Visa or MasterCard. There are cards that have no set spending limit and there are cards that allow a person to carry an outstanding balance. Perks such as these have made American Express perfect for corporate situations where they can be used to entertain, lodge, and feed clients. American Express is on the cutting edge of anti-identity theft technology. The company is dedicated to ensuring its members are protected from fraud. This technology made its big debut with AmEx Blue, but it has found its way into most of the company’s other cards.
