IBERIABANK Credit Cards at a Glance

IberiaBank credit cards are some of the best in the industry. There are many to choose from and they each offer something a little bit different to entice customers. Most of the IberiaBank credit cards are intended for those with prime credit, and the rates reflect this. Individuals with sub-par credit scores or a sub-par credit history will have a difficult time qualifying for some of the more competitive IberiaBank cards.

Visa Select
The Visa Select is one of the staple cards for IberiaBank and it offers a nice introductory period for those who want to make a switch. For one year, customers enjoy a 7.50% APR with this card. After that period, the interest rate becomes variable, but never more than prime + 4.25%. That makes it one of the most affordable cards out there. Additionally, it should be noted that there is not a fee for balance transfers and these cards come with full online access.

Visa Classic
This is one of the most popular cards provided by the bank, mostly because it does not require an annual fee for cardholders. This card comes with an industry standard 6-month introductory period, where rates are low for both purchases and for balance transfers. After those 6 months, the card switches to a variable rate. Though it will not be as low as the Select card, the rate will still be competitive when compared to the rest of the credit card industry. As with the Select card, the Visa Classic offers a 25-day grace period on all purchases.

Visa Gold
This card is something of a step up for customers who want a little more. It provides 1% cash back on all purchases and features $500,000 worth of travel accident coverage. When you combine the lower than industry average APR and the introductory period of 6 months with an even lower APR, it becomes quite clear that this is a card that gives back to its cardholders. The nice thing about this card is that it does not require a monthly or annual fee to take advantage of the nice cash back offers.

Visa Platinum
Considered by many to be one of the best cards in the industry, the Visa Platinum by IberiaBank comes strong with rewards. For every dollar spent on qualifying purchases, cardholders get 1 point that can later be applied to hotels, air tickets, and other items. This card features a great interest rate both on the introductory scale and also over the long run. Additionally, the card has low cost balance transfers available and offers even more travel protection than the Visa Gold. It's the cream of the crop, so to speak, in terms of total package.
