Apple sold over 5.5 million Mac computers last quarter which is enough to give every person in Ireland one of their own. With highly products such as the iPhone, iPad, and now the Apple watch more and more people are turning to the Apple ecosystem of products to stay connected with family and friends. There are some things to do before buying an Apple product because they are not cheap. Make sure you plan your Apple purchase ahead of time and decide which rewards card you are going to use to maximize your cash back. This Barclaycard Visa offers no-interest financing on purchases made at Apple as well as 3 points per $1 spent at the Apple Store and on iTunes.
You’ll earn 3 points per $1 spent at the Apple Store and on iTunes, 2 points per $1 at restaurants, and 1 point on all of your other purchases. You can then get a $25 Apple Store Gift Card for each 2,500 points that you earn. As a bonus you can receive no-interest financing up to 18 months on purchases made at Apple within the first 30 days of account opening.
To get the special financing just go in the Apple store with the card or buy online and you’ll pay no interest for 6 months on purchases under $498. If your purchases are from $499 to $998 then no interest for 12 months and no interest for 18 months on purchase of $999 or more.
The best way to buy Apple products such as the Apple Watch is to purchase it online to get an extra 1x back on purchases with Ebates. This would put you at the 3 points per dollar from the card then another point per dollar from the online cash back site. You are still buying from the Apple store online but just clicking a link through Ebates. They also offer promotions where you can get 3x or more on certain days. (more…)

There is now an easier way to get money back from the airlines if you’ve experienced a delay, cancellation, or overbooking in the past 3 years. Most of us do not go after the airlines and stay persistent with customer service over these issues for vouchers or lost time and money mainly because it is inconvenient to file a claim.
AirHelp is a service that will file claims on your behalf, follow up with the airline, and take the airline to court if required. Whether you paid full price, got a discounted fare or redeemed an award ticket.
If AirHelp is not able to compensate you there is no need to pay AirHelp. If the airline pays, AirHelp will take 25% of the proceeds which is much better than nothing from being inconvenienced with forms we would have no clue where and when to file.
In the event of a delay, cancellation, or overbooking, airlines will usually offer you a voucher for free food or drink or credit for future travel. Hotel accommodations if there’s an overnight delay and that is a rarity. But normally you the airlines offer you nothing.

LAN Airlines rewards credit card with 30,000 bonus miles after you spend $2,500 in the first 120 days of account opening. The current offer also has no annual fee for the first year.

You’ll receive double miles on LAN or TAM ticket purchases and 1 LANPASS mile for every $1 you spend with no limit on the amount of miles that you can earn. You’re miles can be redeemed on LAN Airlines or any OneWorld partner airline. OneWorld’s partners include American Airlines, British Airways, Japan Airlines, and Cathay Pacific.
