The Citi Prestige Card has increased its bonus to 50,000 ThankYou Points after $3,000 in purchases within your first three months. This makes it enough points for a $800 flight on American Airlines, a $665 flight on any other airline, or $500 in gift cards.
Normally the Citi Prestige Card is 30,000 bonus points after $2,000 in purchases, so for an extra $1,000 in purchases, you can earn 50,000 bonus points now instead. One really bad negative of this card is that it has a $450 annual fee and that is not waived for the first year. Although to compensate for that huge annual fee like other major cards are doing is a travel credit each year. This Prestige Card offers a $250 air travel credit each year and a complimentary fourth night for any hotel stay. That right there makes it better than the Club Carlson card that just downgraded their card where you cannot get your free hotel night any longer after staying a night. This definitely offsets the annual fee and I will add this card in my next card application roundup.

While we love and obsess over frequent flyer miles and cash back on this site there are also many other rewards available such as revenue sharing that we need to cover more. Recently Jet.com tried a revenue sharing offer and we signed up although it has yet to be released but we hope it takes off and gives Amazon a real competitor. BigCrumbs, a former cash back site recently announced a revenue sharing deal for its MainStreetSHARES where instead of earning cash back when you shop online at popular stores. This means you will now earn a share of all company revenue.
That’s right the site looks over your total monthly spending and members you have referred and you get shopping commissions, advertising revenue, with future revenue streams coming. MainStreetSHARES members will also earn lifetime referral commissions when your referrals shop called msSHARES. If MainStreetSHARES is acquired, you’ll receive a cash payout, based on the number of msSHARES you’ve earned. Members who earn msSHARES will be entitled to a specially reserved additional 10% share of acquisition proceeds through July 31, 2015. You basically get stock in this company for buying things online you normally would and referring friends.

ShopKick is a shopping app based loyalty program that gives you points or “kicks” for visiting stores and scanning specific items. There are 6,000,000 plus people who have downloaded shop kick for their mobile device on android and iPhone.
ShopKick will let you know of specials that a store is currently having, some of which are exclusive. The app will show you which stores are participating and how far away each store is and how many kicks you’ll receive for entering the store such as Target or Kroger. You have to wonder what ShopKick gets out of it. Well they make money when a business gets a customer inside a store and they buy something might not have otherwise purchased. The money they make from fees they charge businesses to get additional customers in the store is some of what they give back to you.

All of the banks are competing with the new digital world of banking and credit card usage. They have listed promotions with Apple Pay, Paypal, Google Wallet and Visa Checkout. Some of these offers just ask that you enroll or register for the first time using that credit card and others ask for you to make a small purchase. The great thing about it is you will be spending the money anyway but using this service which has no extra cost and gaining a bonus.
